Top Metrics
Official documentation — Catalog, keywords, opportunities, debriefing, and e-commerce metrics
What is Top Metrics?
Top Metrics is desktop software to search products on marketplaces (Mercado Livre, Shopee, Amazon, OLX, Enjoei), build a unified catalog, discover keywords across multiple platforms, analyze opportunities with market metrics, run automatic market debriefing, and export reports (Excel, CSV, and TXT), helping sellers, affiliates, and agencies with listings, SEO, ads, and content planning.
- Product catalog — Search by keyword and region, select marketplaces, consolidate listings in the grid, and export to Excel or CSV.
- Keyword Explorer (SEO) — Discover hundreds of terms from Google, YouTube, Bing, Yahoo, Amazon, Fiverr, and more; use categories, alphabet expansion, questions, and recursive expansion; view relevance, estimated volume, trend, competition, and opportunity.
- Opportunity Radar — Commercial view of search suggestions with visible volume, trend, CPC, and ad competition; filter by words on the left sidebar and export profitable opportunities.
- Automatic Debriefing — Enter a product or category and get a full market report in one click: demand, supply, competition, and margin funnel, overall score, buyer intent, and practical recommendations exportable to TXT or Excel.
- Keyword search — Enter what you want to find (for example a product type or model) and adjust region or parameters shown on the catalog screen when applicable.
- Mercado Livre, Shopee, Amazon, OLX, and Enjoei — Choose which sources to include. Mercado Livre may use the API when a token is configured; otherwise the flow may use the embedded browser.
- Item limit — Set how many results to fetch in the current run using the numeric control in the catalog toolbar.
- Catalog grid — Review extracted or imported rows and use clear, import, and export actions.
- Import — Load supported files (for example JSON in the format described by the app) to merge data into the catalog.
- Export — Save to Excel or CSV from the catalog, keyword explorer, and opportunity radar; export debriefing reports to TXT or Excel.
- Summary and status — Follow status messages and the summary of the last operation in each tab's dedicated area.
- License — The product uses the TopMetrics license id in activation and purchase-code download flows.
- Windows with .NET Framework 4.8 (or compatible version stated by the installer).
- Microsoft Edge WebView2 — Runtime used for embedded web flows; usually installed with the app or available from Microsoft.
- Google Chrome — Recommended when extraction uses browser automation, per the options in your build.
- Stable internet connection.
- You receive the Top Metrics installer. Source code is not included.
- After purchase, use your email and purchase code in the license download flow when available on the website.
- Run the installer, finish setup, and launch Top Metrics (or the executable name shown in the Start menu).
- On first run, complete license activation with the details sent by email.
- The app may check for updates on startup by comparing your version with the official server.
After activation, use the Product catalog tab to build your marketplace listing base.
- Search query — Type the text you need (for example “gaming laptop”, “12000 btu air conditioner”).
- Region — When the extraction flow exposes a region field, fill it as indicated in the UI.
- Sources — Enable the marketplaces you need (Mercado Livre, Shopee, Amazon, OLX, Enjoei).
- Limit — Adjust the maximum number of items for the current run.
- Extract — Starts collection. Use Stop to cancel a long operation.
- Results — Items appear in the grid; review columns such as title, price, URL, and other fields provided by your build.
- Clear — Empties the grid and summary for a new round.
- Export — Save the catalog to Excel or another available format.
Use Import to load a supported file. If parsing fails, check UTF-8 encoding, delimiters, and file structure.
The app may ship an import template under the installation data folder — use it as the reference for expected columns and keys.
The Keywords (SEO) tab enables large-scale keyword research across multiple search and suggestion platforms.
- Platform — Choose Google, YouTube, Bing, Yahoo, Amazon, Fiverr, All platforms, or another option in the toolbar.
- Seed term — Enter the base word or phrase (for example “gaming chair”, “marketing course”).
- Country and language — Configure market and collection language for local or international research.
- Expansion — Use alphabet (a–z), numbers, common questions (how, where, price…), and recursive expansion to generate hundreds or thousands of variations.
- Categories — Filter on the left by buyers, questions, videos/social, long-tail, and other automatically generated categories.
- Results grid — Review platform, relevance, estimated volume, trend, competition, opportunity, and source for each term.
- Export — Save the full list to Excel (.xlsx) or CSV for SEO, ads, or content planning.
The Opportunity Radar tab shows search suggestions with a commercial focus — ideal for finding profitable variations before competitors.
- Term and platform — Enter the keyword and select the suggestion source, as in the keyword explorer.
- Visible metrics — Estimated monthly volume, volume trend (▲/▼), estimated CPC, and ad competition score appear directly in the grid.
- Word filter — On the left sidebar, see the most frequent words with counts; click to filter variations within the same topic.
- Country and language — Adjust market (Brazil, US, Portugal…) and language to match your strategy.
- Prioritization — Results sorted by commercial potential for e-commerce, info products, affiliates, and paid campaigns.
- Export — Export filtered opportunities to Excel or CSV and share with your team.
The Automatic Debriefing tab delivers a full market analysis in one click — enter a product or category and Top Metrics cross-references Google searches with Mercado Livre and Shopee listings, calculates scores, and produces a report with practical recommendations.
- Search — Type the product or category you want to analyze (for example “gaming chair”, “inverter air conditioner”).
- Demand collection — Real Google suggestions with alphabet expansion and common questions; estimated volume, trend (▲/▼), and ad competition for each term.
- Supply collection — Real Mercado Livre and Shopee listings in the configured sample — prices, sales reference when available, and distribution by channel.
- Market funnel — Side panel with four scores (0–100): demand, supply, competition, and price margin, plus an overall score with classification (Strong Opportunity, Moderate, Saturated Market, or Low Priority).
- Buyer intent — Terms are classified as hot (ready to buy), warm (comparing), or cold (curiosity/content), highlighting words ideal for listing titles and paid campaigns.
- Report and recommendations — Automatic text with practical guidance based on the scores — when to test with a controlled budget, when to prioritize long-tail terms, when there is pricing room, etc.
- Export — Save the full debriefing to TXT or Excel (.xlsx) to share with partners, your team, or keep a historical record of analyses.
On startup, the app asks the official server whether a newer release is available. If so, you see a notice with a download option and what changed in that version.
We recommend keeping the latest build installed to stay aligned with marketplace changes, search platforms, and the embedded browser.
